Misery Loves Company

Good morning dearies,

What's poppin' this lovely Monday morning?. Hope your weekend was better than mine. Spent mine in bed mostly, down with a cold. By the way, is there no cure for this bloody thing??? Isn't it about time some genius discovered a solution to this viral infection?
Anyway, so there I was, sick and for some weird reason I was angry at people that could play and have fun, even my lil' munchkin. Ha! Misery really do love company!!

Ever noticed how people discourage you from doing what you want to do which they're unable to do? You want to go for a further degree, they ask 'what's the point, you already have a job', just because they don't want to further their own degree. You want to start exercising and loose some weight, the fattest of all of them will be the first to tell you that you look great and do not need to exercise. A friend recently told me how another fat friend of hers told her to stop posting pictures or news of her workouts on Social Media, because according to her (the fat friend) she wasn't the first person to start working out! Imagine that!! I bet you it is because she is too lazy to get off her couch/bed and wouldn't want her to loose weight and feel/look better.

Women in abusive relationships and marriages are the ones that will tell you to endure, pray and fast harder, and generally discourage you from doing anything other than these. They lack the courage to act and therefore want everyone to remain sad and miserable with them. Is it fair? Hell No! That you're in a tight corner shouldn't make you wish others would join you in your tight corner. I feel it's just sad, cowardly, and plain evil to wish ill on someone just because you're going through the same.

To everybody out there, do not let anyone make you a companion to whatever misery they're facing. To do this, you need to be determined and strong. When you see some people angry and continuously looking for someone to fight with, know that they're battling with themselves and looking for whom to drag down with them. Just walk away. Never give anyone the opportunity to infect you with their misery.

Here's to a fruitful week.

Hugs...
